274308 Costa Rica: An International Community Health Experience for Nursing Students

A nursing faculty-led study abroad course for nursing and public health students is featured. The course combines an on-line didactic component and a travel component. Suggestions are included for screening students, working with in-country service providers, and developing meaningful student evaluations.

Differentiate characteristics of international schools and service providers that lead to a quality experience for students. 3.
