The mobile health clinic sector encompasses a wide variety of service delivery types, ranging from Patient Centered Medical Homes with well-established continuous quality improvement processes to small community organizations that have arisen due to local need with limited or no capacity for ongoing quality evaluation. The diversity of service delivery models and organizational structures of mobile health clinics' is representative of the diversity within the public health system more broadly. Therefore developing a quality assessment system within this sector may help inform the development of quality assessment for the Public Health System at large.
