He serves as Principal Investigator of the NIH-funded Global Research Network for women and children’s health. Research focuses on collaboration with Jawaharlal Medical College in India with over 150 published papers based on research findings from network trials. The initial study proving the efficacy of misoprostol to prevent PP hemorrhage has become WHO sanctioned of care in rural areas within the developing worlds.
