I completed a baccalaureate in health and physical education, MA in teaching, Lewis and Clark College; MPH, UC-Berkeley; DrPH, UCLA. I authored or coauthored more than 30 textbooks, 100 publications in professional literature, and presented more than 300 papers at the meetings of local, national, and international organizations. My research interests include health behavior, program evaluation, and environmental health issues.
