Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been involved in research for access for those both 65+ and those <65 with limited mobility. Previous research interests have been reduction of childhood obesity, diabetic health promotion (diet, exercise, behavioral), hypertension and antihypertensive medication access and usage as well as childhood immunizations. Grants included cultural competency, nurse practitioners attitudes towards the elderly and neighborhood satisfaction. I am currently teaching public health courses that deal directly with health education and health promotion.
