This session will identify the challenges across a woman's life span which are sometimes not highlighted and the necessity for having specific strategies and policies in place to address these issues and make them a priority. Specifically, the economic benefits of prioritizing women's health will be highlighted to educate both health care providers and policy makers.
Session Objectives: 1. Identify challenges facing women through out their life cycle. 2. Discuss primary, secondary, and tertiary preventive strategies to address these challenges. 3. Explain the advantages to society of making women's health a priority.
