Preventive management and disease treatment of visual health care consumes a large proportion of the US health care budget, and easily correctable visual health problems are a major contributor to quality of life and productivity losses world wide. This session provides perspectives on eye care education and national objectives in vision loss prevention and eye health promotion.
Session Objectives: 1) Demonstrate the needs and focuses of eye care education across the lifespan; 2) Describe a better understanding of national eye health objectives;
