This poster session will present findings from interventions used to
improve maternal and infant care over the lifespan. New intervention
methods to improve prenatal care access, prevent preterm births, and
maternal physical health were examined. The role of provider and the
use of medical resources was also discussed.
Session Objectives: - To Identify the factors that influence positive pregnancy outcomes during the perinatal period.
- To Assess the role of provider, community, and societal factors that influence birth health outcomes.
- To Evaluate the strategies that could prevent preterm births.
