Focused on social determinants of health, non-communicable diseases, and the post-2015 agenda, this panel seeks to review how human rights discourses have slipped from the global health agenda and analyze how human rights could better frame global health efforts.
Session Objectives: Describe the role of human rights in framing global health policy.
Identify ways in which human rights have slipped from the global health agenda.
Analyze the impact of human rights in improving the global health response.
