This session will discuss updates in the methodology of epidemiology and applications of epidemiologic methods in novel situations.
Session Objectives: List several factors derived from public health data that may explain community college graduation versus drop-out
Discuss how to define a graph theoretic data structure
Evaluate how the network characteristics vary across space and time
Identify key epidemiological methods for a community health assessment.
Design community health reports with place-specific social determinants data.
Describe a process for using neighborhood-level social determinants data for strengthening community engagement and building community capacity to address health inequities.
Discuss recommended improvements to agencies’ processes for achieving balanced representation and dealing with matters of disclosure, waiver, recusal and other procedural challenges in the context of advisory bodies.
