The built environment plays a major role in the public health. Where we build, the materials we use, and how we design, operate, and maintain our buildings can greatly impact the health and well-being of the population. The purpose of this session is to identify and discuss issues related to the built environment both inside and out that can impact the health, welfare and comfort of the occupants.
Session Objectives: Describe the impacts of the built environment on indoor environmental quality and human health.
