Our 140th Year is beginning. The demonstration website has moved ahead on schedule. The plan includes active engagement and input from membership groups. We invite your participation. At this meeting, we will provide an overview of the Association History Project, feature topics, and specific plans and pages for Sections, Affiliates, SPIGS, and Caucuses. The discussion will be led by Dr. Ted Brown, and Dr. Jay Glasser will present the History Project orientation at the start of the session.
Discussion Topics:
Further engagement and participation of the Association leadership and members on an organized basis. Filling in the 40 year gap since the publication of the History of our first 100 years. A range of critical appraisal from Past Presidents, Emeritus Members to students and new professionals.
Expand collection, and organization of content in the build out of the demonstration website in concert with expert guidance.
Suggestions for enlarging input and support for the History Project from related public health resources, foundations, and institutions.
