|
The following APHA program is now accepting late breaker submissions: The Epidemiology Section invites the submission of late breaker abstracts related to epidemiology for the 141st APHA annual meeting, November 2 -6, 2013 in Boston. Abstracts may be submitted through the APHA website beginning June 1, 2013. Please follow the directions on the website. Abstracts must describe studies completed after the general February 2013 abstract deadline. Abstracts must be 250 words or less with the standard background, methods, results, and discussion sections. Abstracts submitted without results will not be reviewed. Studies that are specific to the theme of the conference, “Think Global, Act Local: Best Practices Around the World”, will receive highest priority. Individuals should submit material only if they, or a designee, are committed to presenting the paper or poster and be registered for the conference. Preferences for oral versus poster presentation will be considered, but the program committee will make the final determination. The deadline for late breakers is Tuesday July 9, 2013. Decisions will be sent to abstract submitters in mid-late August. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Catherine Troisi at apha_epi@yahoo.com To begin your submission now click on the "start abstract submission" button below.
