Essential to building competence in environmental health is a solid knowledge base. The Education Work Group works to address education designed for formal academic settings as well as professional development programs. Examples of workgroup accomplishments and current projects include: Curriculum guidelines across all levels of academic programs, faculty development and teaching strategies, the development of modules for continuing education and the use of open source materials such as environmental health eTextbook.
