Authors play a key role in preparing manuscript submissions that include relevant content and methods pertinent to diverse audiences of researchers and practitoners in maternal child health. This session will describe how authors can maximize the effectiveness of their submissions to communicate to both science and practice audiences.

I am on the editorial board of the MCHJ and have previously served on the AJPH. I have served as a special editor for Pediatrics and the Maternal and Child Health Journal. He has also held adjunct academic appointments at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Harvard Uni versity. He has published over 100 articles and book chapters
