Russian nurses: Models of care that include eastern and western practices

Nursing in Russia is changing but still combines Western and Eastern practices. This presentation will discuss nursing in Russia in reference to providing care that includes Eastern and Western best practices Health promotion is new to nursing in Russia and its integration with Eastern and Western health care practices can be challenging but is considered important in providing holistic care. The challenges of providing diverse methods of health care will be addressed along with the benefits of holistic care that includes Western and Eastern practices. Nurses in the US will learn how nursing is provided in a country with varied health care practices.
