Collaborative public policy planning and implementation

This presentation will describe how integrated planning, which included community health, influenced the development of the 2040 Plan and 2040 Transportation Plans including programs and policies such as complete streets. The presentation will also describe how partnerships and gaps in resources inspired the development, launch and activities of the Kane County Planning Cooperative, including the “Creating Healthier Communities” project. Finally, the presentation will cover the evaluation of the launch of the Cooperative and the effectiveness of the project in attaining its goals and objectives.
