As part of the panel looking at opportunities for innovation in community engagement, this presentation will discuss a visioning approach undertaken at the county level to establish a framework for paradigm shifts, whereby all the elements of a community begin to understand their interrelatedness. This presentation will focus on the importance of understanding the relationship between collective versus isolated impacts, as well as the importance of approaching real social and community wide change from a multi-sectoral approach that involves common agendas and accountability amongst all sectors.
