This presentation will give an overview of how economic globalization & social media have presented major challenges to the lives of women, children & their families around the globe.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have >40 years of experience maternal and child health research, policy development and practice at the state and national levels including >100 peer reviewed journal articles and 3 books on maternal and child health content . I spent 16 years with the Massachusetts Department of PH, specializing in child and family health and health promotion.
