“Define American” is a compelling and personalized narrative of Jose Antonio Vargas, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who “came out” about his status as an undocumented individual. He shares his journey: discovering what it was like to learn of “being undocumented” when all along he believed he was a citizen of the United States of America. He calls on America, and the world, to understand, and define, what it means to be American.
