Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been involved in HIV studies among drug-involved populations since 1993. My research has focused on the development and evaluation of HIV prevention/interventions with vulnerable populations, including women sex workers, criminal offenders, and homeless drug abusers. These initiatives have consisted of staged approaches including: 1) developmental work to generate or tailor novel interventions; and, 2) randomized trials to evaluate HIV interventions. I have served as PI or Co-Investigator on more than 10 NIDA-funded studies.
