This session provides a unique and important opportunity to hear from community partners regarding their perspectives on community-based participatory research. Panelists will share their experiences with community-academic partnerships, the challenges and benefits of participating in these relationships, the lessons they have learned, and recommendations for others engaged in CBPR.
Session Objectives: Identify the historical relevance, partnership development, and lessons learned through engaged CBPR collaborative. Identify and describe specific recommendations, from a community perspective, to conducting community-academic collaborative research. List strategies associated with good partnership development
