The purpose of this session is to describe several approaches to prepare nurses for leadership in global health. Interconnections that affect population health in both global and local settings are increasingly recognized. Global experiences are critical to prepare nurses to recognize and respond to global health trends.
Session Objectives: Describe how to prepare nurses for leadership in global health. Identify the roles that nurses can play in global health.
