Monday, November 4, 2013: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Sandra de Castro Buffington, former director of the Hollywood, Health & Society program at USC Annenberg's Norman Lear Center, will present a series of award-winning TV clips on public health topics, discuss how HH&S inspired and informed 365-aired story lines from 2009-2013, and show the impact of selected storylines on viewers' knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Audience members will learn how they can serve as subject matter experts and advise Hollywood's writers and producers on storylines for television and movies.
