This session will cover the role of healthcare navigators, who will work directly for a patient, helping that person get the best healthcare possible from his or her doctors, hospitals and others who actually provide the care the patient needs. The navigators will play a large role in addressing the major access issues that people, especially men, face in society today.
Session Objectives: Discuss various navigation programs that are currently in place to assist people with healthcare questions/concerns.
Explain the healthcare navigators and the navigation process.
Identify the various navigator models that are being successfully used throughout the country.
