The purpose of the American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian Caucus Poster Session is to share with the larger APHA community the work of ten different posters from Native communities related to the conference theme – Think Global Act Local: Best Practices Around the World. Presenters will be available to discuss their projects, which highlight efforts to build health infrastructure, capacity, and equality in Native communities.
Session Objectives: Identify a variety of approaches used in community-based research.
Describe different strengths from the featured projects within Native communities.
Discuss “lessons learned” related to building health infrastructure, capacity, and equality in Native communities.
