Public health departments face IT challenges ranging from scheduling to data collection to outcome evaluation. This session will highlight assorted examples that illustrate some of these challenges, and discuss the viability (and generalizability) of the solutions these departments deployed.
Session Objectives: At the end of this session, participants should be able to: *describe the challenges faced by local, state, national and global health departments in the use of information technology to improve health.
