How to write a discussion section

This section of the course will focus on how to write a discussion. Dr. Kogan will discuss the purposes, provide an outline of the section, go into details for each component of the section, and provide examples for each component, including how to write a limitations section and a concluding paragraph.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Dr. Michael Kogan is Director of the Epidemiology and Research Program for the Maternal and Child Health Bureau. He serves on the editorial board of the Maternal and Child Health Journal and has served for the American Journal of Public Health. He has been a special editor for Pediatrics. He has published over 100 articles and book chapters on numerous topics in pediatric and perinatal epidemiology. He received his doctorate in epidemiology from Yale University.
