This component will address organizational and conceptual strategies for increasing the competitiveness of proposals across a variety of federal and non-federal funding sources. Emphasis will be placed on self-preparation and self-mentoring, setting timelines and benchmarks, maximizing pre-submission resources, and anticipating fatal flaws and reviewer critiques. Attendees will complete the session with awareness of and access to new resources and knowledge of distinct strategies that foster their competitive edge in grant getting.
