Hands-on practice: Building the foundation

For the purposes of identifying storytellers, participants will work in small groups to form a mock Story Development Group. Instructors will provide a list of potential intervention topics, which may be chosen or modified based on the groups' interest. The groups will cover the content relevant to the study or intervention and also design the questions to be answered in a narrative style, which helps to identify individuals that have interesting and relevant material to share and also communicate their stories eloquently.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been working in topics of health equity and health disparities for the last six years. I also have 4 years of experience in focus group and individual interview guide creation, facilitation and content analysis.For the last year and a half I have been directly involved in the development of projects that utilize video storytelling as a health intervention method. I have also received training in Public Health and qualitative methods of research.
