Getting started with statistical software

The purpose of this session is to provide learners with hands-on practice learning the basic layout of SPSS, and to develop basic data management skills in learning how to access, examine and save data. Students will also learn how to distinguish between different scales of measurement used in biostatistics.

Describe how to use SPSS to input and manipulate data. Differentiate between various scales of measurement used in statistics.
