Overview of the outbreak
Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am the Chief, Prevention and Response Branch, Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion in the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases. The branch investigates and responds to emerging infections and related adverse events among patients and healthcare personnel. During 2012, I was also the Incident Manager for CDC's response to the Multistate Outbreak of Fungal Meningitis and Other Infections. Prior to these positions, I was assigned to the ECDC in Stockholm, Sweden.
