Newtown Shootings: A Policy Perspective

The presenter will discuss the types of policies and programs that may help prevent similar tragedies, and firearm injuries generally. Actions by both government and non-governmental groups will be discussed.

Discuss the possible lessons to be learned from the Newtown shootings. Delineate the types of governmental actions that might prevent such harm. Delineate the types of non-governmental actions that might be beneficial.
