Cross-cutting training needs in public health

Public health is funded in silos, and public health programs sometimes operate in silos. The public health workforce, however, has cross-cutting needs, that will be better served across silos. This project brought 31 public health organizations representing state and local health officials, program directors (such MCH and STD directors), cross-cutting function providers (such as epidemiologists, HR directors and CFOs) to build consensus on the most pressing needs of the public health workforce of the future. This presentation will share the results of this consensus building process
