Looking deep within: A native view

The speaker will provide a visual of how traditional Native concepts helped shape and guide leadership qualities for a Native transgender woman. This visual will also talk about the cofactors related to risky behaviors and how this affects the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual being of the Native American transgender population. This will also address future needs and outcomes for this population.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am a presenter, trainer, consultant on HIV Prevention and Transgender topics. I have conducted evidence base curriculums to at risk individuals such as Native Gay Men, Native Transgender Women, and Native Men and Women. I have recently expanded my training in working with Native youth and conducting workshops.
