Describe the role of the Public Health Museum.
Explain the importance of collecting and curating public health history.
Indicate how the primary mission is to engage the public in public health history and its relevance to their community and health.
Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I Chair the Board of the Public Health Museum of Massachusetts and am responsible for presenting the history of public health in Massachusetts to the wide audience of health professionals and the public by preserving and curating documents, displays and objects of public health significance. A function of the museum is presenting and increasing participation of all sectors in the history of public health. I hold an MD degree and am an active medical practitioner.
