Biographical Sketch: Sana oversees Prevention Institute’s projects on health reform implementation and improving access to healthy foods and opportunities for safe physical activity. She directs communications efforts and conducts national trainings on how to use media advocacy to advance prevention strategies that keep communities healthy and safe in the first place. Sana is co-editor of Prevention Is Primary: Strategies for Community Wellbeing, an academic text on primary prevention, copublished by Jossey-Bass/Wiley and the American Public Health Association.
