Biographical Sketch: Tammy Pilisuk has over 25 years in public health. Currently, she is a Health Educator with the California Department of Public Health. She is also a champion for health literacy and active volunteer assisting with advocacy for people with multiple sclerosis and family caregivers. Tammy authored APHA's “Public Health’s Critical Role in Health Reform,” and recieved the "Henrik Blum Award for Excellence in Health Policy.” She earned her MPH from UC Berkeley.
