Biographical Sketch:
Alison Buttenheim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family & Community Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. A public health researcher and social demographer, Dr. Buttenheim studies household and caregiver behavior and its effects on child health. Her current research agenda includes studies on Chagas disease and diarrheal treatment in Peru, and several studies related to parental vaccine hesitancy in the US.
