Biographical Sketch: Dorothy Wigmore is a long-time health and safety specialist and activist. As an occupational hygienist, ergonomist, researcher and educator, she has worked with and for Canadian, US and Mocambican unions since 1981. She also has worked for government agencies, universities, occupational health centres and NGOs. Dorothy is known as an educator (especially for her body and workplace mapping activities) but she's also done policy work, written and edited clear language materials, and has a long memory that being put to the test today. Worksafe (California) is her relatively-new employer.
