Biographical Sketch: Nargess Shadbeh has dedicated her legal career to serving farmworkers. As the Oregon Law Center’s Farmworker Program Director, she is responsible for overseeing the program’s outreach and legal assistance to farmworkers, which includes with a special focus on farmworkers from indigenous Mexican and Central American backgrounds. She currently serves as the Principal Investigator on a NIMHD funded project to study the effectiveness of innovative training modalities in reducing pesticide exposure among indigenous farmworkers.
