Biographical Sketch: Marsha Broussard, DrPh, MPH, is a public health leader who serves as the Program Director and Principal Investigator for the School Health Connection program and the Orleans Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program at the Louisiana Public Health Institute (LPHI). LPHI, an independent non-profit public health organization, strives to improve the health and quality of life in Louisiana. Under Marsha’s leadership, LPHI has become a key stakeholder in school health services; including school based health centers, health and wellness programs, and risk reduction programs that target adolescents. Success has required coalition building across state and local governmental agencies, universities, foundations and local community-based partners.
