Biographical Sketch: Iana Simeonov manages mHealth programs for the School of Medicine and is responsible for innovative application of mobile technology. She also directs consumer marketing and communications for the California Poison Control System, part of the UCSF School of Pharmacy and is a principal investigator/project director at the Public Health Institute.
Her primary focus is on technology and innovation, particularly for underserved audiences. She has developed and launched SMS campaigns, online games, and apps for behavior change, outreach, and brand-building as well as produced digital and mobile tools for public health programs and projects nationwide.
