Biographical Sketch: Dr. Cook is associate professor of health policy at the University of Nevada Reno School of Community Health Sciences. He studies and teaches the politics of health and safety regulations, including tobacco control, drug safety, and the politics of science. He earned a doctorate in political science from the City University of New York in 2003 and was a research fellow at the University of California San Francisco 2003-2006.
