Biographical Sketch: Vanessa Miller is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a Doctor of Public Health. She is a health policy researcher and currently works as an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at California State University, Fullerton. She is a member of the APHA—Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) Section. She is also a member of the APHA—Action Board and works with the Policy committee to ensure that significant research findings are disseminated to Congress and various policy makers to promote the funding and support for evidence-based practice.
