Biographical Sketch: Susan Hammond is the Director of the War Legacies Project, a non-governmental organization based in Vermont that focuses on the long-term health and environmental impacts of war. Prior to founding the War Legacies Project, Susan worked as Deputy Director for the Fund for Reconciliation and Development where she lived and worked in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and New York. She received her MA in International Education from New York University and a BA from Smith College.
