Biographical Sketch: Jonathan Purtle, MPH, MSc is a Research Associate at Drexel University where he conducts research and evaluation for a hospital-based violence intervention program. Jonathan is also a DrPH candidate (ABD) in the Department of Health Management and Policy at Drexel were his research is focused policy-level interventions to address issues related to trauma and toxic stress. He is co-creator of “The Public’s Health”—a public health blog and column with The Philadelphia Inquirer.
