Biographical Sketch: Leah Rimkus is the Deputy Director for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded Bridging the Gap program, based at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Leah’s work has focused largely on the influence of local-level policies, programs, and environmental factors on health-related behaviors and outcomes. She is currently leading the nutrition work group for BTG’s community data collection, which is investigating the impact of socioeconomic and other environmental factors on diet and obesity. Leah is a Registered Dietitian and received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
