Biographical Sketch: Emily Clear is a recent Master of Public Health graduate from the University of Kentucky (UK) completing her Master’s Thesis on the topic of teen pregnancy and partner intendedness. A Certified Health Education Specialist, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Promotion from UK. Currently she is the project manager on a grant funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention evaluating a dating and sexual violence bystander intervention in high schools across Kentucky. She is also involved in projects at the UK Center for Research on Violence Against Women including the evaluation of a dating and sexual violence bystander intervention among college students across multiple college campuses, as well as understanding the effects of intimate partner violence on pregnancy outcomes.
