Biographical Sketch: Dr. Chhabra is an Assistant Professor in the department of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in the Bronx, New York. She is a trained clinical psychologist, and has been involved in clinical work and research focusing on education, prevention, health promotion and quality of life issues for people living with HIV/AIDS since last ten years. Focusing on health disparities and utilizing the principles of Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR), she has been involved in designing and implementing national and international health education and health promotion programs in the US as well as in India for adolescents for almost a decade as well.
